KIDS SAVING THE RAIN FOREST / Janine Licare

Kids Saving the Rain Forest (KSTR) is based in Costa Rica and was co-founded by 9-year-old Janine Licare in 1999 (pictured left). Today KSTR has members worldwide and programs focusing on education, preservation and sustainability in tropical rain forests globally. KSTR owns rain forest property, a wildlife refuge and has planted over 6,000 trees. KSTR also hosts a kids' camp on Saturdays where children are taught ways they can protect and sustain their rain forests. For every Andira Rain Tee sold, a KSTR child volunteer will receive a tree they can plant in an area of rain forest that has been destroyed.  






BEANZ N RICE / Brad Rickard and John Deer

In March 2007 Brad Rickard and John Deer (pictured right) of Melbourne Australia began a 13-month trek across South America as volunteers for wildlife and environmental organizations located deep in the Amazon. Their self-funded adventure has helped educate the world about the Amazon through their detailed website (www.beanznrice.org), their volunteer guide as well as the educational program they took to the hundreds of children involved in the Andira Rain Tee project. We are honored to have their generous dedication, support, and friendship.
