Merazonia is a rescue and rehabilitation center for Amazonian animals that have been trafficked and abused. Located on 250 acres of land just outside the small jungle town of Mera, Ecuador, Merazonia sits where the Andes meet the Amazon.
Merazonia works directly with local law enforcement, international volunteers, students, and researchers. Merazonia's goal is to rehabilitate and release these endangered animals and is entirely supported by the generous contributions of time, labor, and finance from donors all over the world.
