We named our company, “Andira” after a tall tree that grows throughout the rain forests of South America. For centuries, indigenous people have used the Andira for its medicinal properties. However, due to logging and deforestation, the species is nearly extinct.

Andira creates and distributes products that are produced fairly and donates a percentage of proceeds to organizations that urgently need funding, such as our charity Merazonia, located deep in the Amazon jungle of Ecuador.

It is our mission to use the positive and powerful aspects of our industry as fuel for our vision of a thriving rain forest, a healthy planet, and an educated, inspired consumer.

*All Andira products are animal product free.

Beth Doane BETH DOANE
Founder & Designer, The Andira Rain-Tee Collection
Co-founder Andira International

Beth grew up surrounded by nature and wildlife on a small farm in rural Ohio and created Andira in 2005 as a fashion import and distribution company. After two years of launching contemporary collections from around the world, she was inspired to create her own line: The Andira Rain Tee Collection. Always passionate about animal rights education, she is a public speaker on behalf of the Humane Society and regularly visits schools and organizations to promote kindness and compassion for all living things.

Always eager to educate the public on issues that require global awareness, it is her wish that her fashion lines create positive change in the world and inspire the potential in all of us to make a difference.

BETHANY ARMSTRONG
Designer, The Andira Rain-Tee Collection

Bethany sees the world as a global community and believes in creating means for social and cultural exchange through art and commerce. She has been involved in the arts since she was a child, and is always eager to be part of meaningful endeavors.

As an established graphic designer currently based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Bethany generously donated her time and expertise to the Rain Tee Project simply after meeting Beth Doane on a flight to New York City. She is honored to be a part of the Andira Team and her artistic talent is brilliantly displayed in each Rain Tee piece.
